To see Julio Cortázar'sRayuela (Hopscotch) in its manuscript form at UT Austin's Benson Library's Latin American Collection was a miracle. We also saw and touched Gloria Anzaldua's manuscript of Borderlands/La Frontera: The New Meztiza, and works by Alurista, among others. The room was buzzing. I swear I witnessed Canto Mundistas levitating, as I felt the sealing touch the top of my head.
