R. Crumb to hit museum. I would give anything (I've always hated this expression) to listen to his old record collection for a day.

I'd love to hear what you thought of the Crumb doc.

Again, his music collection is incredible.

haha I thought Crumb was amazing. Surprisingly I share a lot of the same views--a somewhat dim view on society and humanity. I was so surprised when I found out that the doc was made in the early 90s. The film quality and the color seem straight out late 60s early 70s flick.

Although some of his work is a bit over the top, I admired Crumb's honesty and bluntness in both his work and social commentary. If only we had some of Crumb's guts.

I'm sure budgetary constraints contributed to the film's visual quality. It's been some time since I've seen this film.

I was mostly intrigued by his process as an artist, the obsessiveness of his pen on the paper. He was constantly working, and I'm sure he still is. Many artists claim to work like this, but few rarely do.
